CardScope

A small tool that fetches a URL at the edge, reads the Open Graph and Twitter tags, and shows how the unfurl will look on X, LinkedIn, Slack, Discord, and iMessage — plus a short checklist of what to fix. Free to use, with a $19 Pro unlock. No account. Page HTML is not stored.

  1. Week of Sep 20

Cloudflare on cardscope.dev is new — the zone only went up around Sep 19. That day: 208 unique visitors and 541 page views. Sep 20: 137 uniques and 185 views. Daily uniques are not fully deduped across days, so I am not rolling them into a weekly total. Shipped the product plus an SEO guide. Product Hunt launch is set for Tue Sep 22, 12:01 AM PDT. Submitted to Ignlab Launch (pending). Tried a few other free directories; some blocked the listing or wanted a branded email. Weekday one-action marketing continues. Two Pro unlocks via Stripe Checkout: one at $19, one at $0 on a founder test promo.

  2. Launched on Cloudflare

Shipped CardScope on Cloudflare. Fetch at the edge, parse the tags in memory, then forget the page. That privacy note is the product, not a footer.

  3. Early build notes

Started as a scratch tool because every client reads a different set of meta tags. Slack wants Open Graph; Discord leans on twitter:card; iMessage falls apart without an image. One paste, five shells.

  4. Kept the scope small

Paste a URL, see the unfurl, fix the tags. No accounts, no stored HTML, no extra product around it.
